It's a good question, but I think the answer is "It depends on the vouchers ..." AFAIK John Lewis can be used on either, because they have a code you can enter when shopping online. Most of the rest SEEM to be in-store only. But I'm no expert!
I don't think the leisure vouchers can.
http://www.leisurevouchers.co.uk/pdf/ideas.pdf read the restrictions part for further details
Really should be added to the FAQ then as if I had known, I would have chosen different vouchers.0 -

Just received a £10 hmv voucher, can it be used online hmv?
Leisure vouchers so not specific to HMV.
They can only be used instore
also HMV are quite a new addition to the Leisure Vouchers scheme and it seems that not all stores are aware that they are accepted, so it may be wise to print a copy of the Leisure Vouchers page to take with you when you go into the HMV shop.

if you click on more details on the rewards page it says...Treat yourself with £10 off a new CD or DVD. Redeem your PiggyPoints for this leisure voucher, redeemable in HMV stores across the UK. This cannot be used on HMV online.0 -
