Afternoon all. Well i've had rather a life changing day! I've decided to definitely leave my current job and have just finished applying for a new job. It should be more money but also less stress, pressure and am less likely to be attacked. It also means i can focus on my other career opportunities such as setting up my own part time mobile therapy business and will have more energy for September when starting my diploma in counselling which in two years time should lead me to a nice salary. Sorry to bore you all, it's just nice to have people to share it with, especially as its taken me so long to come to my decision, does feel like a weight off my shoulder!

    So my things for today:
    -Applied for new job
-canceled driving lesson as wasn't feeling great, saves me £20, will try and go out with the boyf and have a free driving lesson.
    -Check online banking
-Have looked at some more voluntary work, will aid me in getting on my diploma course
-Have been looking at more courses in beauty therapy, to help my new therapy business
    -Fill in any surveys
-Have looked for more mystery shopping jobs but no look at yet.
-Received my info pack and free stamps, re monitoring mail for royal mail
    -Place a matched bet
    -Check out spreadsheets
-Check out my challenges and update as necessery.

    Have a good evening all.

  • Today I found this website, and had my lightbulb moment.
    The rest is to follow.....
Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no xxx - Proud to be dealing with my debts :j
It cost a lot to get through medical school. But in August '08 I start my career!
    Light-bulb moment - 26 Feb '08 - Total debt £47,561
Debt free by Aug 2012 (it's a lot of debt!)
  • If this counts - Trying to get my CV together which hopefully will lead me to a new job which will obviously help my current situation.

Also have noted down a number of items that can be sold on ebay that I don't use anymore.
