Lombard Direct, a warning......

All was fine when I took out a 15K loan, I never missed a payment in the first 2 years, I then got made redundant, but it didn't matter as I had PPI, 9 months later I took up a new job but the downside was that it was much less salary than I had originally been earning, therefore I had to contact the CAB to ask them to negotiate lower repayments, all my creditors agreed to this except Lombard Direct, they took me to court, they took out a CCJ and as if that wasn't enough, they put a Charging Order on my property!
Their Solicitor also lied to me telling me that if I sold my house to pay off the debt, they would remove the CCJ from my Credit File, trouble is he said it over the phone, so I have no proof.
I ended up losing my home because of these B***ards, the CCJ still shows up on my file and will do for the next 5 years, I am now living in rented acommodation. Lombard Direct put me through absolute and utter hell which I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, I even wrote to their Chief Executive, but no one showed me an ounce of compassion, basically they have ruined my life.I don't owe them a penny now, but I've lost my home in the process.

There are ways to prevent this - or at least, to minimise the risk of it happening. I'm sorry, it won't help you, but it may be of interest to others in a similar position.
What happened when they issued the initial County Court proceedings? Did you complete and return the Admission Form (N9a)? Did you attend the hearing?Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0
