Purchase protection on a Visa Debt Card ?

I understood that you only got purchase protection on a Credit Card, but the Visa Web site seems to imply that you also get protection against Fraud, undelivered goods etc on a Visa Debit card ?.

Credit cards gives you statutory protection under section 75 of the Consumer Protection Act.
Debit cards - depends on the goodwill of the bank/issuer. - There is no S75 protection. However you are not liable for fraudelent transactions anyway unless the bank can prove you have been negligent.0 -
Visa offers VISA chargebacks on their debit cards.
However, unlike using a credit card this is not consumer law but VISAs own rules..
