End of Halifax One 0% :(

Evenin' all,
I am fast approaching the end of my Halifax One 0% period. I have a Citi card (0% for 6 months) on its way to transfer the Halifax balance to but ideally I'd like a further 0% from Halifax so that I can stooz the balance from it at 0% (I have a routing Egg card sorted out), while paying off the Citi balance over the 6 months.
I rang Halifax today to see if they could extend the 0% and they couldn't, and they also said that people with the One card are not eligible for a straight upgrade to any other card (eg. the Cancer Research card, which seems to be the only other Halifax card offering 0% on BT's at the moment).
Normally I wouldn't hesitate asking to close the account which may make them think again, but this time I'm wary as I have about £60 worth of cashback due on the account which I would lose if I were to close the account before its anniversary.
Question is, have any of you managed to extend your Halifax One 0% period? If so, what tactic did you use to do so? I don't want to threaten to close my account as I quite fancy that £60 - unless I know for certain that it's going to work and I will be transferred to the magic retentions department (if HBOS have one?).
Cheers,
Chris

I got this offer too, so looks like it maybe for all0 -
Don't think it is for all, would be nice if it was though! Just spoke to them regarding the offer that you had been offered and they said no, it's only for a select number of people, and that if you don't get the letter there's nothing you could do.
The girl even advised me to start looking for a different 0% card!! Good way of encouraging loyalty eh!0 -
I was preparing to move the debt to the abbey card, when I got the offer out of the blue about a month before 0% expiry
Never called them to ask for any offers after the 0%.
So now Ive got an extra xk to play with
Give it till 3 weeks before expiry before its pretty certain you won't be offered the deal.0
