What A B****y Weekend!!!

Its been awful,

Hubby working nights all weekend, kids slepping out, all cleaning, washing, ironing & dog walking done.

Sat down with well earned drinky to catch up on whats been going on and oh my god - no internet connection. Absolutely gutted to say the least  .

OH spent 1 hour on phone to AOL call centre in India 15 mins after getting up yesterday afternoon and still no connection to Martin, everyting else was fine, spent 2 hours trawling through E-Bay for nothing in particular & spent nothing either - which I guess is good.

Can't understand computers, but logged on 2night with fingers crossed and hey presto!!! here I am,

Thank Goodness my right arm has been restored!!!!

Internet problems are nothing compared to what I woke up to yesterday morning... my dog had died in his sleep...watching my children hug his stiff body was so heart rendering, never seen them sob so much :(

yeah..it's amazing what goes through your mind when you can't get online...scary really...I think about all the online banking I need to do and how everything's set up and...panic! Almost like the need to look at stuff and feel you're part of things....how did people manage before?

don't feel bad susieh...I too get mad when my internet doesn't work, its like an obsession, we all have to get online, I go to the extreme when I can't connect, I pull my pc tower apart to try and fix it, used to make more of a mess trying to fix it, but..I taught myself how to build computers and am quite savvy now :)

and of course...you promise yourself that when you get back on you'll make sure you're not so dependent and then promptly start trusting it all over again! To think that we used to have dial-up....

Oh this made me well up that is so sad. I am dreading this happening to my two cats who are 21 and 18 years old. Suddenly my younger DS has decided the 21 year old is 'his' cat. So it is going to be even harder when they pass away.

    Judy,
Sorry to hear about your dog, it's like losing one of the family isn't it, and people who don't have them don't understand, hope the kiddies are OK today. Take care hun
