Options
Hi

Does anyone know of a online calculator for income tax and NI for 2008/9, or have the thresholds etc not all been annouced yet?

I'm trying to work out if I will be better or worse off after April.

Thanks

Personal allowances are known but thresholds not announced until March budget.

This site will be updated when they are known.

I found this on a trawl...

Don't know if it's correct or not.

Bad news is 2009/10 when we all seem to be paying just over £100 more in income tax - thank you Mr Brown :(

It will also be inaccurate as it assumes the tax free allowance, and thresholds for each tax rate, remain at the 2007 levels, which is not the case.

I looked binary site looks like I am going to be around 100 per month worse off not good not happy and worried sick as already do not earn enough to cover bills and finding a better paid job is taking longer than I hoped let alone finding extra work, Earn too much for tax credits by a few 100 pounds
I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.

don't panick yet... the calculator is incorrect for next tax year... wait until a correct one is available.

This has not been updated with the 2008 Budget - at the top it say 2007 Budget so it is a year out of date. The 2008 Budget was only announced yesterday, so it will be a while yet before 2008/9 tax forecast calculators are available.
