I saw only one other person ask for one when I was there ... strange folk these non-MSE's ...
Got a couple of the 2 for 1 Postcards too ... More-freebie-doodle-do's ...

Ditto on the coffee high.
Have been getting free large lattes at McD's all week with the Metro vouchers.
Went to a Starbucks near closing time aswell. Coffee had been sitting in the dispenser for a while but the barista was happy to give us three cups each, some beans to take home and about 30 BOGOF vouchers between us to give to our friends. I was unclear about what the occasion was though - she was dancing around in a mask and muttered something about their farmers? They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!0 -
Strange that people want to pay over the odds for coffee, when there's a free one waiting to be had.
I did actually have to ask if the promotion was still running or had been withdrawn as everyone esle in the queue paid for theirs!!!!Always on the hunt for a bargain.
Always grateful for any hints, tips or guidance as to where the best deals are:smileyhea0 -

What amazed me was that, despite the sign behind the counter, people were still paying for a cup of coffee. I didn't hear anyone else in Paddington ask for one of the free cups!
The couple in front of me ordered 4 coffees and then were handed 4 free ones and they looked a bit confused. There was a big sign behind the counter advertising the free coffee but it didn't stand out. It took me a while to see it even though i knew the offer was on thanks to MSE. I just wanted to tell them about this site.Stuff Martin Has Helped Me Save/Earn

I only heard about it today and missed it.
So had an instant as usual.
But good to know that FairTrade idea is getting more and more popular with supermarkets and chains. They can make a big difference.
FairTrade coffee can be bought from Oxfam. It is called Cafe' Direct, if anyone is interested. Oxfam also stock many other FairTrade produce.

Missed the free offer yesterday as I wasn't near a starbucks but went into Wilmslow town centre today and some very nice starbucks people were handing out free mini cups of cinnamon dolcelatte with whipped cream on top. Mmmmm lovely.
