Had 2 cups. One from each Starbucks stores in Southampton which are barely 100 meters apart.

Starbucks staff member was standing near the store (but not far from Costas) with a tray of small, shot size, samples of coffee this afternoon in Uxbridge.

Thanks! My work sent me to London today, so I got a small cup of coffee from outside the Starbucks in High Street Kensington, then had a full size one in Paddington station waiting for my train. I needed that after a day of IT training...

What amazed me was that, despite the sign behind the counter, people were still paying for a cup of coffee. I didn't hear anyone else in Paddington ask for one of the free cups!

Yes there was a huge queue in my store at 2pm and I thought O'h they're all getting free coffee but not one person asked for the free one and there was a hige poster behind the counter!

All Starbucks stores have around 300 postcards each, that entitle the bearer to buy one get one free, or treat a friend as they like to call it, just ask the barista for one :beer:

My daughter went to the one in Shrewsbury, her & about 20 college pals all had a free coffee, so she was chuffed!
