Hi all,
Just wondering if there is somewhere in particular I can dump a printer and a shedder (home-use size, so small)? Or do I just let the bin men take them - theres a special collection of rubbish here on a Saturday that I can take them to.
The printer is old and doesnt work too good and its probably difficult or impossible to get ink cartridges for it, so not really much use to anyone.
The shredder isn't working - the blades aren't moving though the motor is running.
Ta.

Your local council amenity site will take them; you don't say where you are so it's hard to say more than that.0

This (very long) link was recently posted on the Winchester Freecycle group - it's a guide to how to dispose of things that Freecyclers do not want :

There is a complete list of all types of electrical equipement which fall into the WEEE regulations on the EHS website All exciting stuff.
It can be disposed seperately at your local amenity site but should not be put in your bin:rolleyes:0 -
Can you check your link please?
It doesn't work for me I'm afraid0 -
www.ehsni.gov.uk/waste/regulation-and-legislation/regulations_weee.htm
