How Do You Become An International Courier?

Options
Hi Moneysavers!

I want to travel and thought what better way than to become an international courier and get paid to deliver a package in person to many new and exciting countries. I would like to get some mor einformation on this idea and thought i'd seek help with you, the experts. Has anyone ever done it, can you tell me more.

By international courier i mean someone who flys a package to its destination country in person, then waits in that country until a parcel needs taking back again, (usually 2 - 5 days), im assuming the courier company will pay for all your expenses, obviously.

thanks to all

I'd suggest you get a job as a courier in this country on local deliveries. After a year or two and you are trusted by the company ask them about overseas trips. They are not going to trust a complete stranger on that sort of trip.

I doubt if the sort of job you say you want (2-5 days overseas, expenses paid) exists. At most you get the flight paid.

My own view is that the whole thing is an urban myth with the tiniest grain of truth behind it.

i did this for a flight to chicago about 15 years ago,i phoned the airlines and asked which courier company they used.i flew buisness class to chicago,i had to pick my ticket up from airport along with package(paperwork) and dress smart, when we landed at chicago somebody came on the plane and took package off me easy! the price on the ticket was £900 and i got it for £120 return,i didnt have to bring anything back and could stay as long as i wanted upto 2weeks, you dont get any expenses i was thrilled with the money i saved on the flight and being buisiness class very comfy and never ending supply of free drinks and food
