When I only have a few I end to highlight the date and then tell the checkout girl that everything is in date and that they do sell the products etc
My one check out person that will take everyhting I give him is off on Saturday for a fortnight to have his knee done, yes we are now on initmate terms LOL.
So I need to stock up before Saturday or just eat the contents of the freezer which seem to be mainly organic chips, peas and burgers for the next two weeks. Mind you I have 4 teenagers here for the next fortnight so I dont think that they will complain!

LOL We are going to Tescos tomorrow to stock up on Organic Burgers and Chips too!! Really need to boost up my points, need a new kitchen!
Last week i handed over coupons for the first time and they got rejected!! The week before i forced my partner to hand over £6 of coupons for a £27 shop. The lady accepted them with no problems and told us that we could use as much coupons as we wanted even if we dont buy any of the products. Feeling confident i went over to Tescos and tried to hand over £1 worth of coupons for items i hand not purchased (Didn't want to chance too much knowing how fussy they are meant to be). They would not accept them even though i was purchasing £85 of shopping. Wont be handing over coupons there again!!A banker is someone who lends you an umbrella when the sun is shining, and who asks for it back when it start to rain.0 -
It seems that different cashiers in the same store do different things from what I've been reading here. If anybody refuses my vouchers now I'm darn well going to ask them, politely, to ask another cashier or a supervisor why I got them accepted last week (or whenever) but not this time.
This is REAL money out of MY pocket I'm talking about. Too right I'm gonna ask!

I was recently on holiday in Wales and managed to off load 24 - yes 24 of my old coupons that I have been carrying around for a few weeks. Most of these were lower value but I also used a couple of the Joey ones. The bloke on the checkout would have scanned more but I did not feel that I could whip out another handfull of coupons when he had been so good at scanning the 24 !!!!
I also got the FantaZ deal where they give me 21p to take 12 cans of FantaZ away and the 18 alpen bars for £1.68 !!!
I am now off to try to replenish my stock of coupons before my next shopping trip !!!Your really can not beat a good bargain !!!0
