Stage 1...... I use nasal sparay /injections to down regulate my body for about 21 days,( im on tummy injections daily as of friday)

You get scanned, to make sure its all shut down.

You take gonadotropin (a growth hormone) to stimulate your ovaries to produce lots of eggs, This is a dangerous stage as if you overstimulate it can be deadly, imagine pmt x 20, i need about 15-20 eggs. This is for 7 + day.

Scans to monitor how many eggs and size of eggs, all internal!!!!

Stage 3 .......Trigger shot, as its name it triggers the eggs to release.

Stage 4........ this is timed to be exactly 30/36 hrs after trigger Operation to remove eggs. Day suregery leaves you with awful belly ache and felling groggy.

Stage 5.........man does his sample same day and time as your op.

Stage 6........ I have icsi at this stage , thats where a needle puts sperm into my eggs , straight forward ivf the egg and sperm met in dish on own accord, but icsi is more accurate and stops a major failure at this stage.
These embryos will be cared for in lab u expect to lose half and half again every day .

Stage 7........ the embryos are checked at day 3 if struggling they get them back in fast, my hospital put up to 3 in at day 3.

Stage 8......what i pray for a 5 day transfer, if your embryos are strong and u get to this day when they put them in (only allowed 2 in) you have a 50/50 chance of success.

Stage 9........You have pessaries to help it all stick. and are now in 2 week wait. you pray like mad, and hope u have no bleed .

Stage 10......positive/negative???????................

Whole process anything up to 6 weeks xx

The weird thing is, we were warned if we had naughties after 20 eggs growing i could end up with 20 kids?!?!?!?! we had to sign a form saying we wouldnt?!?!?!?! xxxx

But I did lose everything on my pc, photos, emails, docs...the lot..:(..Toni and OH were fantastic help - can't thank them enough, and I really learnt a lot but it all went a bit Pete Tong at 4am this morning and there were 95k files to retrieve.....and I had to tick on them all separately...so I gave up.

Soooo, looking on the bright side...which is extremely difficult at the mo..........nothing installed on this pc apart from IE, Safari and Windows Media Player at the moment, so it is going like the clappers...so maybe I will win again!!!

strange they made you sign a form though!!! like taking an oath of celibacy or something!!!!! guess it's so they can prove that they did tell you.
