paint is a programme on your computer,
paste is right click and paste or ctrl v.

go to start - programs - accessories - paint

(this will open up "paint" blank screen with colour palette to the left

Right click anywhere in paint and scroll down and click "paste"

The screen grabbed image will now appear in paint

Go to file... save.... hey presto!!!

What a nightmare....right I pressed Print Screen, went onto paint and right click but no drop down menu came up. What am I doing wrong.

try pressing control and V instead

In the menu at the top, click on edit then paste.

Don't panic about it though, if you've got the code written down correctly that's what's important - I've never needed any of my screengrabs. If it's still on the screen, I'm sure I read on here that you can copy the code from the screen (just to make sure you've got it right) and paste it straight into your email to them - not tried it myself though.
