I agree about not knowing whats round the corner - my OH's cousin died in a car accident just before his 19th birthday last year and we have had 3 uncles between us die in the last 6 months - all sudden and all far too young to go - makes you look at your life!

As I have no dad, didn't expect to be an orphan just yet! But I feel her strength with me every day.

Evening all, just popped on to say hello, DS is much better today, he got a better night last night but still a temp of 39.8 this morning. However, I got the temp down with calpol, brufen and sponging and then he had another big sleep. It has stayed down since, I am so glad:j

All the meds must be upsetting his tummy tho, we had a poo incident in the hall earlier :eek:, lets just say it wasnt pleasant and thank goodness its a wooden floor and easily cleaned

Apart from 'The Voucher', I don't think it says anywhere on the site that 1 of every prize is given out each day and when the winners list was up, I noticed they were often giving out the same prizes more than once a day.

Was just asking about you earlier Teerah - glad ds is much better - they seem to get ill quick but better even quicker at that age thank god!

We have wooden floors too and leather sofas - was a godsend when LO sick for a fortnight at xmas - we would never have got rid of it from a carpet!
