I am a worry wort as many may have gathered and in a sense he is lucky as does not stop him doing day to day stuff like it does others though he gets a few bad attacks a year and hence why I am paronoid about him going away with school next month though cannot wrap them in a buble all there lives :rolleyes:or can you:rotfl:
Gwen its a worry full stop when your kid goes away on their own but you'll soon find out he's more than capable of looking after himself when he has to and the schools are really good about medication. I just gave my DD teacher a bag with her medications and full instructions and there was no problem. Don't worry hun....is this his first trip away with the school then?
My DD has done 2 now and she's had a ball! She is doing her Duke of Edinburgh this year is is going on an unaccompanied expedition :eek::eek: You've got that to come!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::A Thank you to all who post xxx :A

Oh the kids going away.
My 8 year old went away for 3 days/2 nights to an activity centre with school last November.
I packed his case and must have told him ten dozen times where everything was, to make sure he put lots of layers on, and to have a good time and not to worry:rotfl:
Ha, he had a fabulous time, didn't think of us once, whilst I was at home worried sick, waiting for the phone to ring.
Kids are often older and wiser than their parents think they are.0 -

It's difficult....they don't want to look different from their peers do they?. Maybe you could find out if there are other asthma suffers in the class and maybe get his class teacher to do a talk about it in PSHE ????:A Thank you to all who post xxx :A
