oops....think I jinxed her last night by saying hope it isn't a long one as inductions can take bloomin ages, especially the gel one!!!!!

my first induction ( neither of my babies wanted to come out!) was the drip which they turned up way to high (midwife came in and said oops!) and was agonising in 4 hours flat, my baby went into distress and had to have a c section. 2nd baby i was trying for a natural delivery, told her how quickly I reacted to the drip so they gave me the gel, doctors agreed I shouldn't go on the drip incase I had strong contractions too quickly and rupture the scarring, my body reacted really quickly to the gel (too quickly, far more than it should have done!) and all the doctors on duty came in as they hadn't really seen anything like it before (given the gel and within 2 hours I was having contractions every 60 seconds and searing pain through my scar), then they thought my old scar and womb were possibly going to rupture so off for a c section again (after waiting for an operating room to be free - someone I knew had nabbed it first, weirdly!!)!

I don't think my body reacts well with medicine, seen as I barely ever take a paracetamol it was quite a shock to it I expect!! Plus all the drugs they pumped me with sent me loopy, hallucinating, thinking I was on the set of Doctor Who and Casualty etc

Sorry for my birth stories ( i have no diet ones to share tonight!!)

    - I hope your daughter doesn't end up with any of that!!

    Luc xxxx

I too was started off with all 6 of my kids and i could also tell you a tale or 6 with each birth story, but you know i would be here all night writing them all, I just dont go into labour on my own for some reason, even when my waters went on my second baby, I still had to be started off..... the prostin isnt too good had two already third in the morning, she will have another at 10am in the morning so have to be back with her early, I left her crying, cos she really hates staying in hospital, shes very emotional at the mo...... but it will be worth it in the end, and i think shes now more scared as the nurse said looks like you have a big baby there, as shes all baby..... 9lb ish.....lol....ouch!!!!!!....... my biggest was 7lb.12oz.......I did leave her with some discomfort underneath and some tightenings, so may even get a call in the night you never know.....
my oh is well peed off, cos he has to stay home and look after our kids as im at the hospital with my daughter, so now its babysitting for him again tomorrow, hes not a very happy bunny....... Oh well, the grandad will have to get used to it....lol.....

I'm so worried. :( One of my Bengal cats has been out for hours. :( I got them a year last Christmas and they were indoor cats because they came from breeders. We started letting them out after about a month but they've never been great explorers, just go out on short jaunts then return home to use the litter box  and laze around the house for most of the day. I'm starting to feel sick with worry. :(
