Ok thought I would share my good day with you all, firstly I got a 10,000 bc goody bag in the post this morning :j and secondly and most importantly my OH was born with congenital heart disease, had major ops as baby and then had a very stable 20 years or so. About 6 years ago he deterioated and was told only a transplant would help but he wasn't poorly enough yet for it. They reckoned maybe 5 years top till he would need one. Today he travelled from cornwall to london to see the team again and he is still very stable :T so that is brill news for us Hope you don't mind me sharing but it's a relief been worrying like mad the last few days.#JusticeForGrenfell0

Thank you xxx
The hospital near us is slowly building up a fantastic specialist heart section, he goes there now for his main appointments and then once every 6-12 months to see the transplant team in London. Hpefully one day they can have a transplant section down here.0 -
