Update on the problem I was having with installing the live search:
Just installed it on the laptop checking the 'make default search engine' and 'add to tabs' and it works (ie all I have to do is type my word into the box in the toolbar then keep pressing the magnifying glass). The original on my desktop looks exactly the same but when I press the magnifying glass, all reference to bigsnap (including the cards) disappear so I just end up with everything below the banner. The only difference was that I didn't include it as my default search engine but the problem now seems to be that I can't remove it in order to re-install. AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!
Having said that and having seen it work on both machines, I'm sure it's no difference to just refreshing the page.
