Hi all, not usually on here this late so thought I'd say hello. Only on here now cause I'm too upset to sleep, my friend's 17yo daughter, Jade, was killed in a car crash on Saturday, she was going shopping with her best mate, they both sadly died. I just can't believe it. Jade also worked part time with me and her mum, I'm dreading going back to work on Weds, it just won't be the same without her there, she was the baby!

I'm soooo sorry for posting this on here and putting a dampner on things, but I'm sitting here in floods of tears and needing someone to talk to, I know I don't post here very often but I'm here every day clicking like mad and reading what you lot are up to, I feel like I know you all!!

    Sorry again,
    Emma x

Oh you poor thing! What a terrible shock! Glad we can be on here for you to chat too, that just helps sometimes. My thoughts are with the girl's family - and with you. Puts everything into perspective doesn't it, when something this tragic happens to someone so young. xxxx

oh emma thats awful, i'm so sorry for your loss. i can't imagine how her poor mother must be feeling right now either.
i know how you feel as i lost a friend in a car crash earlier this year, he was only 21, it's so tragic and so horrible that these roads kill so many people.

Thanks Lou, Mandy, to be honest I think it's only just hit me. I've just been looking at a photo of her on the BBC News Wales website and I can't believe I won't be seeing her again. It's total madness and so unfair, they had their whole lives ahead of them. Her mum and family are being so incredibly brave. xxxxxxxxx

Lou, did I read that you were checking the FA cup semi times? Who will you be supporting?

You will still be in shock. I can't imagine what her family are going through. I mean, I am 42, a grown woman...and lost my mum suddenly last year....I will never get over it....so cannot imagine how they will cope...but people are strong...and you just have to go on, don't you. But that poor girl was too young, so sad.

Re the footie, no, wasn't me. I'm a Chelsea fan, we ain't in it anymore...so want Barnsley so can say we were knocked out by the winners. ;)

I'm sorry to hear about your mum, Lou. You're right, people are strong and find ways of coping, Jade left behind a younger sister and brother, so I guess the family have to stay strong for their sakes. I know they are an incredibly close family, this will make them stronger still. xxxxxx

Sorry about the mix up with the footie, Lou, as I posted it I knew I was wrong, hence I deleted that part, only not quick enough! You'll have to excuse me, not quite with it tonight!!:o
