I am feeling like the rest of you who are not able to win anything else now, I keep thinking I am doing something wrong! But keep perservering and still DIDDLEY SQUAT!!!!!

As some of you know - OH is a piggy wiggy and these past few days he has been on rest days, but he is back in shift tomorrow night and DD is with her dad every day this coming week 10am - 6pm so I will be throwing a "Virtual Clickity Click Virgin Non-Housework Party" :beer: This will be an all night vigil from 10:30pm right through until whenever mine weary eyes will take me!!

Please let me know how many will attend I will bring the party hats and cucumber sandwiches! I also have a lady finger which I got as a freebie last week which I will donate to the first winner "virtually" in their "wrong" hole out of spite for not winning myself !!!!

Lucy.... I think the problem with your boiler may be that you just need to bleed your radiators (easy to do - sometimes a tad messy so make sure you have a towel handy) lol. My heating rumbles all the time, pretty sure we have a slight leak in a pipe somewhere as we always have to bleed them.... Could be something to do with the fact my brother fall through my ceiling after getting something in the loft and stepping on one of the pipes... staight in to my front room... all you could see was a pair of arms... legs and bolloc ks hanging from the rafters!!! :mad::rotfl:I can laugh about it now

Thank you for your advice on the boiler!!!! is there no end to your talents?!!!!

We bled the radiators twice, (ds's still sounds as though there is a waterfall in it though!) but this was a completely different noise - we were all in the kitchen and suddenly it wa the loudest buzzing noise, well harsher than buzzing - as if someone was sawing the pipe with a hacksaw or something, it was seriously the whole house making this noise and OH tracked it down to the motor thing in the airing cupboard. As soo nas we turned the thermostat right down it stopped and then started whenever it went over 19 degrees!

It's on it's last legs I suspect, the survey we had done last year (we moved in in November) said it would probably be at the end of it's working life! - more money to spend!!!

If I need anymore DIY tips I'll know who to ask!
