Can you apply for a card with a company again?

in Credit cards
I've recently been actively moving my debt around to reduce the interest I am paying so I can pay off more of my credit. I am closing off the old cards as I've paid them off. In the future if I decided I wanted say a Mint card again could I reapply as a previous customer who paid off their card and shut their account?
Thanks in advance,
QoS

You are best to leave around 6 months between closing an account and re-applying.Treat others as you would like to be treated :A0

When I closed my egg card account they asked me not to apply again for 12 months. I guess it will be different company to company.0
