Can you book it, then get vouchers and cancel test drive?

Test drove a Clio today at Renault,Colindale, near an Asda where I was going to shop in anycase. As soon as I met the salesman he asked me how I booked the Test Drive. When I told him I booked on the internet he immediately enquired if I booked for the "The summertime" promotion because he would have to find me on the computer and tick me in as turning up otherwise I would not get the vouchers through the post! He went on to say that loads of people have booked for test drives with no interest in Renault cars and asked if I was really looking to buy - of course I was!!!!!!!!!! only after a half hour chat about the different models, colour options and a quick whizz around the block was I able to escape. I wpuld be interested to know if folk are getting their vouchers.

I WENT FOR A TEST DRIVE IN THE MEGANE ON TUES 2ND AUGUST.THEY SAID YOU WOULD RECEIVE THEM BY POST WITHIN 4 WEEKS......STILL WAITIN....oops sorry dodnt know i was in caps there.......has anyone received theirs ?

I went for my test drive recently. Had to feign great interest in the Clio. It was a nice car mind you and the sales assistant was quite persuasive but I managed to get away without committing myself! When you book, you get an email from Renault to confirm the booking and if you reply to that asking about the vouchers they send you an email back saying you will receive them within 4 weeks of the test drive, but the test drive centre does have to enter you on its system for this to happen so it's worth checking that your centre does do this. Can't wait to receive the vouchers!

Renault are offering £15 free M and S vouchers if you test drive a Renault this summer BUT and here's the good bit - having booked my appointment online I got a call from the dealership askinghow serious I was. The guy said that because so many people are asking for appointments, if I wasn't actually intending to buy, they wer happy just to put the vouchers in the post!!!!

This may just be locally (Leeds) but worth a try!

I received my vouchers last week. This was despite Renault having completely cocked up the appointments - sent to the wrong garage and the dates were all wrong.

Mine arrived yesterday! Yippee! And I think it only took a couple of weeks, not the 4 weeks they initially said. Thank you Renault!
