    Thanks,Thomas . I have already uninstalled Avast but may try to re install it & try to edit as you suggest as Kaspersky is going to cost me nearly £30.

    I second the use of Avast! anti-virus and Comodo firewall when Kapersky runs out for you. Although both are free, they are both great!!
