The Mobile Outlet - Has It Ceased Trading??

Dear Members,
I bought a total off four phones from the mobile outlet almost a year ago, I have been sending in all my bills for the relevant cashback as per the terms and coniditions ( I havent yet recevied a penny from them)
Very recently I sent in my bills for my penultimate cashback by Royal Mail Special Delivery costing me around £4.30 for each contract only to have them them returned to me saying "Addressee has gone away".
I can cofirm this doesnt mean that no one answered, address is wrong, adress is incomplete, refused or address inaccessible, and it the reason was Deffinately "Adressee has gone away".
Does this mean they are no longer trading, has this happened to anyone else here? What can I do now, is my moeny gone forever?
I noticed there was previously a massive thread discussing mobile outlets cashbacks but this is now closed.

It's in the mobile phone section - been quite a bit of activity about it!
Parent Company Mobile Matters (UK) Ltd in administration, but no-one seems to know for sure if MO are too (seems logical to assume so, but there are still people answering their phones!?! So i'm confused)Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...0 -
I received my first cashback claim form returned unopened. I sent it recorded delivery. I tried phoning but the phone was not answered. I have a feeling that I will not receive any cashback!0

Sorry about opening the new thread just realised the other one existed!!
Anyway following up from my last post, I tried emailing them only to have both email returned undelivered.
I also tried ringing them but after holding for 25 mins I realised no ones will probably answer the phone and at 7p per min its not worth finding out that way!
Just wandering if there is anything that can be done if the company has gone into administartion??0 -
Hi,
I called these people a few weeks ago and was told that the cashback was being processed, then I called on Friday to chase it up. On Friday I was again told that it was still being processed (they've had the paperwork since 2nd Jan), they then told me that it would be processed with 28 day from the last time I called!! after this I spent about 10 minutes trying to speak to the 'cashback dept' direct rather than the customer service people, he claimed he didn't have the number......that's presuming it actually exists.
I actually used TMO last year and every cashback was processed, albeit a little late, so I thought I'd use them again...
The situation does not look great that's for sure
I now have another dilemma, Orange have offered to reduce my monthly payments by almost half, that sounds great, but if I do I'm definitely loose the cash back!
So from my perspective, if they're going to go bust I'd like them to do it sooner than later! :rolleyes:0
