Barclaycard called me less than 24hrs after i missed the 1st payment in about 10 years, so some are really on the ball, keep getting letters from RBS demanding i call them.
Luckily only Barclaycard have my home number and my bank has my home and mobile, all the others have old numbers, so we are only getting 3 or 4 calls a day from barclaycard and the answerphone deals with them. They seem to be automated calls though as the same message is left everytime. had to laugh yesterday, it being sunday and got a call in the afternoon and the message said please call barclaycard we are open 8am till 9pm monday to friday and 9 till 1 on saturday, so does that mean if i had answered yesterday no one would have answered due to them not working sundays?
If your BF is earning quite a bit why not borrow some off him to go BR a bit sooner, if he says no it will at least show how strong your relationship is or is not.Life is like a game of Snakes & Ladders, i almost made it to the top but now i'm at the bottom again and its a very long ladder to the top. I had it all and now its gone
Well my 6 years are now up, now to start to rebuild my life again

Barclaycard have wiped their hands of me now, they wouldn't entertain my offer and passed me to dca (part of their own group apparantly) then they passed me to another one. They are currently trying to get me to phone them so they can " discuss my situation in a sympathetic and considerate manner" yeah right!
I have written to them offering the same token payment as other creditors and have received the same response.
My bf may be able to help a bit, but he pays the majority of the bills and has debts himself so will have to see, i feel guilty asking to be honest

You never know he may be able to help you out and then you could pay him back a bit every month from your holiday/birthday/xmas fund from your I&E.
i was really shocked at how quick Barclaycard called me, i thought i would just get a message on my next statement to say we didnt receive your payment please pay xxx amount now.Life is like a game of Snakes & Ladders, i almost made it to the top but now i'm at the bottom again and its a very long ladder to the top.
