Which 32" TV is better? Panasonic TX-32LXD700 or LG 32LB75

Hi there
I am weighing up which 32" TV I should plump for:
- Panasonic tx-32lxd700 (£740)
- LG 32lb75 (£450)
Naturally there is a £300 difference between the two, but my question to you is whether the Panasonic is worth paying the extra £300 for?
If you are wondering how I arrived at these two models, the LG was recommended by T3 magazine and the Panasonic by Stuff magazine.
I would prefer not to spend more than £500, but will swing to £740 if I knew it was totally worth the extra.
To be clear about it:
- I mostly just watch terrestrial TV on it
- I do not have a PS3 or Xbox 360 (although perhaps will get one in the future)
- I do not have a blu-ray or hi-def DVD player
- I do not have a surround sound system
Hope someone can offer some good advice,
Jeff

I wouldn't recommend either yet Jeff, until you do some more research
The thought of buying something on the back of Stuff or T3 sends shudders down my spine, opt for a proper TV mag like 'Home Cinema Choice' and 'What LCD TV & Video'. Free Online resources too like 'TrustedReviews'
Typing one of your models into Pricerunner.co.uk gives prices and links to reviews.. Cnet, alaTest, etc..going the alaTest route alone reveals 9 expert reviews and a few user reviews too..loads to read up on ...
If you are really set on buying one of those two TVs though, I would lean more towards the cheaper LG, simply becuause you've just thrown away all the good reasons why to splash out a little : don't want Blu ray, no PS3 or Xbox360, you just want good old terrestrial TVThere. Saved £300! Now you can buy that Xbox360!
Good luck with your purchase!Sealed Pot Challenge 15 #78

I did lots of research before buying our Panasonic. Try avforums, there is lots of advice from consumers and experts on there.
I would be inclined to go for a cheaper Panny than an LG. Like these:

The Samsung TV's also appear to be quite good (although black shiny finsh not to everyones taste) and the Toshibas have had better reviews than the LG, both come in slightly cheaper than an LG.0 -
I've LMD70, which is very good compare to Toshiba & LG in other bedrooms.
Richersound sells this for £470ish.I would be inclined to go for a cheaper Panny than an LG. Like these:
