Which Co. am i claiming credit card charges from????

Hi,

I am currently looking into reclaiming my late payment charges & overlimit charges from my credit card - 'Morgan & Stanley' but i am a little confused as Morgan & Stanley have recently bought Goldfish to which i now am receiving monthly statements from this new company.

Who am i requesting all my 6 years of statements from M&S or Goldfish????

.... And who am i actually claiming from??? Cos i cant beleive it would be Goldfish would it? Or would it??


Any advice would be gratiously appreciated.

It would be Goldfish in all instances as Goldfish Bank plc includes the merged operations of Morgan Stanley cards and the 'old' Goldfish card operations.

Actual sitation is:

1. Morgan Stanley bought Goldfish

2. Morgan Stanley Card merged the credit card operations under 'Goldfish Bank' before demerging their card interests into a separate entity (Discover FInancial Services)

And finally to add to the confusion Discover has just decided to pull out of the UK and sold up to Barclays :-)

So although you started off with a Morgan Stanley Card you've currently got a Goldfish Card (branded Morgan Stanley) but give it a few months and you'll have a Barclaycard :-)
