Are "mm02" shares obsolete?

I believe they were superseded by "02"?

Is that correct?

O2 were bought out by spanish giants telefonica.

The company now trades under the name Telefónica O2 Europe plc which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Telefónica S.A.

You would need to buy shared in Telefónica S.A.

Hi there, It has just come to my attention that Telefonica has taking over o2. I had some o2 shares so I should have been sent a payment for the shares held. I don't recall getting any payout.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this sorted?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to find and send your O2 (not mmO2) share certificate to Equiniti who will in turn send you a nice cheque.

If you can't find your share certificate you'll need to contact them and tell them. They might charge you.
