Posh Nosh Con Or Not?

Yesterday whilst I was out, a delivery van called at our house with a large packet of shish kebabs. He spoke to our neighbours on one side who refused to take the parcel, as he wanted £35 cash. He then tried the other neighbour, who paid and took in the item. The box has no details of the company involved and the only paper given to my neighbour is a list of products available and a mobile number - which connects to a message service that tells me that no further messages can be left.

The van driver said he had come from Camberley (we live near Southampton). We have never ordered any kebabs and feel that our neighbour has been conned.

Has anyone else had this happen or does anyone live near Camberley and know the contact details for this company so that I can try and contact them. I do not know their name - but it may be Posh Nosh or similar.

Hmm doesn't sound great, give your local Environmental Health department a ring. At the very least they need to be registered to sell Food. Also make a complaint with your local Trading Standards department. Both'll be in the Yellow Pages.

How do you know they called at your house - sounds like a variation on the 'got to get rid of these before I fly home' scam (although possible you've peed somebody off and they're ordering COD for you...). Phone EHD and TS as Trace suggested.
