Bloody Nationwide.
Beginning of December my sis died suddenly
and as you can imagine we are all still trying to come to terms with it. Anyway she had a life insurance policy with Nationwide and I'm one of the trustee for it.
Filled in all the forms and provided everything they wanted. Went into the local branch to make sure everything was correct (which they said it was) and they sent it off for us.
Then got a letter stated they need more info so sent that off advising them that I had moved and gave them my new address.
They then sent back my sis birth certificate to my new address, but addressed the letter to her. You can imagine my shock and distress when I had to sign for the letter. When phoning the company only got a sorry right at the end of a 15 min conversation.
Anyway they said they were sending the cheques out last Monday. Phoned today to say still haven't recieved and they only sent them to the OLD address. Are they trying to make this more difficult coz that what it feels like.
This money is for her 8 year old son who now has no parents.
Sorry for the long post but needed to rant somewhere
