How do i stop jumpers bobbling?

I find some of my jumpers are bobbling, although they are never put in a tumble dryer, some of them are acrylic/synthetic is this why, and can i stop it?0

Try the laundry collection for some tips. I find if I don't use vinegar/softener, I get bobbling,May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
Washing inside out will help to stop bobbling in the washer, but, often just wearing will cause bobbles....especially seatbelts.
