If you have a very steady hand you could try an ordinary razor.0

Those fabric shavers arn't that good but do remove most of the bobbling if you stick at it. It's a bit like painting the forth bridge tho.
Overloading your washer can cause more bobbling I think the propper term is 'pilling' but I call it bobbling like you:D So maybe considering putting less in per wash. I always turn jersey, knits, and brushed cotton inside out and I've noticed since moving to a top loading agitator type machine that bobbling has become no existant. I think it's because they have so much water to swish around in, are only washed for 10-12mins and don't rub together so much.Life's a beach! DD's school cardigans still fit her perfectly so I'd like to try and save some money and not buy new ones for next year but they don't look very smart because of the bobbling on them, I remember there used to be a gadget that would remove this, does anyone know of anything similar I could use or of any other way of removing this from her cardigans. At £13 a time it's a bit expensive to replace 2 cardis that will probably still fit her well into next year if I don't have to.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Morning, Moggins!
You need a "clothes shaver". Looked at Lakeland, but couldn't find one. Try John Lewis, £6.50.

Still haven't got round to learning how to do my links more neatly..........

Now that I've got DS off to school, had another look at Lakeland. They have a "de-fuzzer" £4.25.

Probably should keep my nose out BUT I've tried that type from Lakeland, although it wasn't from there, and it broke very quickly on me!!! Now it was a few years ago and I can't remember what I paid, but the "foil" just kept coming out of the holder and getting mangled. I'm not explaining this well at all:rotfl:
I have got one of the razor sorts and while it's not perfect I don't think it does a bad job.:D
Anyway just my opinion, perhaps others will have actual experience of the Lakeland defuzzer. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -

No need to keep your nose out CM! I've never seen the one from Lakeland before, it was the one from JL that I was after. I've used one of those, and it worked fine, so a personal experience of the de-fuzzer is very valuable. Thank you!

I usually wrap sellotape around my finger with the sticky side out, and just rub it over the 'bobbly' bits... works really well, its cheap and gives me something to do with my hands rather than snacking during 'coronation street'!You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

PP you are not going to believe this! I decided to hold off buying it until I came home from town and then I found one in Debenhams reduced to £3 and they then took another 10% off so it cost me £2.70 and it's exactly the same as the John Lewis oneOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things
