Afternoon all! I love these threads I do!

I had some exciting news today! We are merging with another office, and one of the supervisors actually sought me out to tell me some positions are coming available (well, 2) for the grade above me and asked me if I would consider applying for it! It's still on flexi-time and is (eventually) £2500 more than what I am getting at the moment! So - watch this space!!

    • I have checked internet banking - no unexpected/forgotten activity, so no need to update spreadsheet.
    • Did 1 hour overtime at work, running total now £247.10 for April's wage (Next Target - another £92.90 to buy DH a year's worth of Road Tax).
    • Fought urge to go to the Tesco Express at lunchtime and buy Walkers Sunbites crisps.
    • Paid for prescription using cash! I am in the habit of handing over my debit card for almost everything but am trying to break that habit.
    • Resisted buying anything else whilst in the chemist - there was some lovely make-up in there
    • Written out a list of things I need for my Tesco shop later.
    • Took my lunch into work (but forgot to eat it cos I was so excited about job as above!).
    • Not too excited to eat the works biscuits though!
    • Posted on this thread for 11th day in a row - I think the longest I have ever gone in one stretch.
    • Have put Tesco extra points coupons in purse in readiness for tonight's shop.
    • Have a receipt worth 5 points to get added to my club-card account whilst I am at Tesco but I will scour the car park for any more profitable ones.
Good luck with applying for new position.:T

I didn't bale her out and made her suffer the month out.

The other night she went for a mac chick sandwich with one friend, armed with a BOGOF voucher from local paper and two cans of Dr Pepper liberated from kitchen:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
