And just how do we know if it's a regional edition? If you buy a newspaper in your local shop it will most likely be a regional edition, but you don't know whether any offer or coupon is regional or national!
Well, whenever I post an offer from the METRO paper, I add that it is the London edition as I know that there is more than one edition up and down the country, and another edition might not have the offer, or it might be on a different page, so I think it is valid information in that case.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

And listing only vague details from the front pages (via Sky News at http://news.sky.com/skynews/picture_gallery/0,,70141-1306648,00.html) is not particularly clever or helpful -- for example the Independent for 30p is almost certainly a regional (London?) price promotion! Yes, I am guessing -- just like quoia!
Most accurate thing you've said all day!
Perhaps you could show me on your wonderful Sky news site how I posted in yesterdays thread that the Independent on Sunday was on special offer at only £1 ?
Because it ain't there, I've just looked.
But it was in my newsagent, who also told me about the 30p offer !
Of course as you said , you were only guessing !
As for the others? Telegraph, Times, Sun, Mail, Express ? Why would I have to look ? I already had them.
The Alton Towers offer was originally posted as a "heads up" in the newspaper summary on Friday morning by another user.
The "continuing" offer is the same as Saturday - coupons available until March 6th
The Times £10 Food Offer - "continuing" with tokens until 14th March, as I posted on Saturday?
They emailed me all the details in the middle of last week !
Telegraph Slug & Lettuce 50% off ? Coupons "continuing" until Friday 29th Feb?
Again all the details available on the Telegraph website LAST Friday.
The Express offer was on their website and the Mail offer was a TV advert.
Perhaps you could put your clairvoyance skills :rotfl: to better use like I have.
I've already looked up the Sky News front pages for NEXT Friday & Saturday.
Starting on Saturday in The Mail will be a further 6 Catherine Cookson DVDs to add to last week's collection.
And also beginning on Saturday in The Telegraph will be 6 "KINGDOM" (series 2) DVDs starring Stephen Fry, ending with a CD of "Kingdom Classics" - music from the series.
But of course I already knew this LAST Friday and I posted it on another MSE thread on Saturday !

Regarding the cost of the newspaper, what's the point as prices do vary (e.g. Sun for 20p in Scotland?). And if there is any point, why list all the prices later in the first post?
I know that the above two points have been copied from earlier (pre-quoia) postings, but surely it is time to look at post 1 and not simply reproduce it in its present outdated form.

Ok I very rarely post on this thread, but I do read it and use the information that is given by other posters. But what are you here for? Having a go at someone, who every evening posts the details of offers (correct to the best of Quoia's knowledge), and provides a thread which a lot of us use. The entire tone of your posts is downright nasty. From the information posted you should just take what you can use and not critise the information which you deem to be incorrect.Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.
