I'm sure the first propper token is in todays Paper. Saturday was just a 'starter' token. You don't need the token from Satirday, you can start collecting from today.

Please post here if you get any of today's newspapers or have the chance to look through one.
Please tell us if any of them contain coupons or freebies or vouchers OR NOT !
Important details are:
The cost of the newspaper
Whether it's a regional edition
And just how do we know if it's a regional edition? If you buy a newspaper in your local shop it will most likely be a regional edition, but you don't know whether any offer or coupon is regional or national!
Regarding the cost of the newspaper, what's the point as prices do vary (e.g. Sun for 20p in Scotland?). And if there is any point, why list all the prices later in the first post?
I know that the above two points have been copied from earlier (pre-quoia) postings, but surely it is time to look at post 1 and not simply reproduce it in its present outdated form.
And listing only vague details from the front pages (via Sky News at http://news.sky.com/skynews/picture_gallery/0,,70141-1306648,00.html) is not particularly clever or helpful -- for example the Independent for 30p is almost certainly a regional (London?) price promotion! Yes, I am guessing -- just like quoia!0 -

That's correct: token 1 is in today's paper, Saturday's was a starter token. After today (i.e. starting with Tuesday's paper), there will be a further eight tokens, of which you will only need seven (for two people).
But the starter token if youve got it does count as your first token doesnt it?Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -

I guess it depends on how you interpret the context of the OP.
By regional edition, i take it to mean a regional paper....for example, the 2 in my area are Derby Evening Telegraph and the Burton Mail, both of these are only available in the surrounding areas of Derby. I'm sure other areas have other regional variations.
Regarding the newspaper cost.....to use your own example, the Sun is 20p in Scotland. It is usally referred to as the Scottish Sun in most of the postings i've read, thus making the difference distinguishable.

I think it is fairly obvious to people outside the East Midlands that the Derby Evening Telegraph is a regional or local paper and therefore there is really no need to say whether or not it is regional! I am sure the original poster (NOT quoia) expected us to state whether it was a regional offer or coupon. But if your interpretation and mine differ, then that surely is a case for rewording the first post.
Regarding the cost of paper, the paper asks for the cost of of the paper and then goes on to state the cost of most national papers. Unnecessary, surely?0 -
