problem with old vcr

    yeah, we already a have one. i just want to be able to watch my old tapes. i know i should copy them to disc but there are millions of them and you cant get much on a dvd disc if you want a decent quality picture.

    I sold all mine (I had quite a large collection). Didn't get much for it but saved/reclaimed a lot of space. Also got rid of my VCR when it stopped working. Never even replaced it with anything.

    alot of it is tv programmes that i have recorded rather than bought films. for example i have a simple minds concert i recorded off bbc2 in 1991.

    I'm sure I once read the average lifespan of video tape is 13 years. You may want to think about transferring.
