Total Bedrest & Bored! Any Free DVD Rentals Online?

Hi All

Have just come out of hospital and have to have complete bed rest for the next 2/3months :eek: I am totally bored and have tried the usual reading (my eyes are quite bad) and am unable to use my hands a lot. Was thinking of hiring a couple of films-then I saw the price...ouch :eek:

Are they any good online dvd rental places that do a free trial period? Can I then cancel before the end and maybe open another with another company? We dont have any spare money as my hubby is my full time carer. I know this is very cheeky but im so bored. :rolleyes: Hubby did a couple last year-so dont know if i will get accepted as they would be registered at this address-would that be correct?

Any help would be much apreciated.

Hi Penny, why not become a DVD Tart! There's quite a few company's listed that do free trials, also Currys give you a voucher for 6 weeks free DVD rental if you spend more than £50 - i'm sure someone may have a spare one they can send you?

Blockbuster have an offer ' Free online rentals for one month

go to https://www.blockbuster.co.uk and enter zaaj56 as the code.'

I think you have to sign up but you can cancel it as you say. They will post them to your door.

Hi There

I joined up with Moviestream free till the 8th Aug, so will send back films by the 6th to make sure. I sent 2 films back the thursday and they received them the friday and emailed me to confirm

After that, Im going to join with Blockbusters for 4 weeks.
