Best card to draw out cash?

Options
Hi all, I tried to post this earlier today, but it didn't seem to work?!?I have never owned a credit card, so i am not to sure about how these things work..I am thinking about taking out a 0% interest free c/c soon, in order to buy a car. The car will more than likely be from a private seller, so i will need to pay with cash. Are there any 0% c/c that allow you to draw out cash without a fee?? Or even any that will let me draw out around 4.5k??I am sure that i will be able to cover the mothly repayments, and in the summer i will be getting hold of enough money to pay off the whole debit..If anyone can help me i would really appreciate it.Many thanks..

    Would suggest, get a virgin credit card ( NO I AM NOT ASSOCIATED WITH THEM),,, as you get cheques with them. pay that money into your account as a balance transfer... you will get 15months int. free... When you get your money pay it all off.. No interest and MORE to the point no cash advance fee...
    Just be advised you will be charged 2.9% of the amount to be transfered via cheque. (from virgin credit cheques)

    Hope this helps in a small way

    The question of getting cash off a credit card at 0% (to settle a loan/buy a car/repay an overdraft/etc) is asked several times a week, so you'll find many threads if you search back a week or two.

    You could also read this article...

    All of the methods in the article I posted the link to above will pay cash from the card into your current account, from where you can withdraw it.

    Which (other?) method do you have in mind?
  • no (other) method, just didn't know how much c/c normally allow peope to spend..

    Then if you secure a high enough credit limit, you'll get your money.

    MBNA will be faster:

    MBNA=>current account=>cash withdrawal

    The Egg Money Card Trick will take a little longer:

    0% (fee-free?) BT card=>Egg Money=>current account=>cash withdrawal
