First of all- well done for reducing debt from 13k to 11k.
Secondly don't beat yourself up for spending the money- everyone, including the most frugal (like me) often feel they have wasted money or missed out on opportunities to earn/make money. People are human and occasionally we will falter. I do!
You do however need to start thinking about and making provision just in case the worst comes to the worst. You will need every penny and if tests ok you will have nice little pot of money. Going out frequently with people from work is an expensive hobby and the reason I rarely go out with colleagues. You can easily spend £40 or more. Is there anyone else you could go out with or go around to their house?. If overtime offered snap it up. it will take your mind off tests. Keep yourself busy but try (if possible) to avoid being alone too much. Yes you can go for a walk, read a book but too much time spent on your own can be dangerous- too easy for the mind to start thinking and wandering!.
Hope tests come back ok (good news). if not just remember life is what you make it and most people adapt even if the don't like the circumstances (half full/half empty glass). it's a cliche but it does contain element of truth. homer

    Hi James240,

Glad to hear you are going to the Gym, that's great news! Keeping your body fit keeps the mind fit and helps you de-stress and releases all those 'feel good' hormones....
Always here for you, don't forget that :p
