in Credit cards
Wondered if any of you clever people can help!!
I have just got a virgin credit card with a £2,500 limit on it
I was hoping for more as I have an egg loan at 7.9% apr.I pay £196.84 a month and have 18 months left on it
Should I pay as much as I can off from the virgin credit card and then pay of remaining as soon as i can.Or shall I just do a transfer into my bank/a savings account to accrue interest.Or do nothing as i wouldnt save much anyway, taking into account the 3% charge!!
I can afford the egg loan monthly, but was hoping to save some pennies.....just my luck!!

Have you asked Virgin (MBNA) if they can increase the credit limit to accomodate the loan balance?0
-
not directly no, I did activate the card and say I had that amount but he did not say they would increase it, all he said was that I could transfer into a bank account if I wanted0
