I know this is going to be the outcome which really annoys me because they have told me that if I can not transmit barcodes they will also remove me from the petrol panel so I lose out on both counts - Extremely unfair but there you go!!! Its just a shame because I save the vouchers and use them at Christmas!!! I suppose it means more surveys to try and get the shortfall!

excuse me for sounding like a duh! but what is the petrol panel and how does it work?
I am currently with shop and scan doing the barcodes and have never heard of the petrol panel.

It's the same company (shopandscan). If you are lucky they contact you and ask you to provide your petrol receipts details as well. I it is by invitation only
I've done that since Sept last year. Basically they want you to type in date of purchase, where you bought the petrol/diesel, how many liters you bought and what the price was. You get an extra 2.50 a month for this info.

not sure if its for everybody, but when I checked my reward points.there was a 500 point survey waiting for me
  • I've been a member of shop and scan for ages now sometimes when i can't scan and the transmission has failed i've had to fiddle around with the wires or hold the wire in the back of the computer when you are scanning, mind you i have been through quite a few clickers as well. I find shop and scan quite a worthwhile panel and i have had lots of vouchers back with them.
