  • but it was a fiver that his mate gave me to go to the bar for him last night, and I mean the bar that we were already in, he just couldn't be bothered to get up

          I bet he's here shortly!!

    Today I have/will:

    - check online banking
    - update spreadsheets
    - getting rid of loads of [strike]tat[/strike] erm, good stuff on freecycle (not strictly DFW but I find the more you give, the more you get offered if there is by chance somehting you want at a later date ;) )
    - storecupboard meals
    - stick to shopping list of cat food, bread and margarine and reduced, useable bargain foods when I go to Asda (near closing time in case of any reduced things that coould fill up freezer ;) )
    - housework  (stops me speding online!)

*edit* forgot the best one! Got an email from Talk Talk saying they've removed the charges from my old account thy've been chasing me for for almost a year (that I didn't owe them in the first place!). Unfortunately, this has resulted in them in putting a default on my credit file and affected the rate of my remortgage :mad: so I've emailed them back asking them to remove it. Thye've given me a number I have to ring tomorrow to deal with it, so fingers crossed!

  • Hello everyone - not been here for ages!

Today I have shopped in Waitrose with vouchers from Pigsback - had to drive, and bought a few treats, but I figure I'm still way up!

Went for breakfast in Wetherspoons, not strictly DFW but kids needed a treat and it was so cheap and cheerful that we were too full to eat lunch - for just over £10.

Ordered £350 (8750 points) of Tesco holiday deals vouchers to (nearly) pay for a holiday in France in the summer for me and the kids - we're getting excited! Just need to get super cheap flights now! I feel a bit panicky that I spent so much of my vouchers stash all at once today - better get collecting!

Did my clicks, about to pack up a couple of eBay bits.

Will make hm soup (to take to work) this evening.

    Have a good evening!
  • PS I got two stars!!!! Hooray!
  • Does anybody need a pet-teen?
My delightful DD (16 last week) has so far this year managed to
    1. flood the bathroom, resulting in a new kitchen ceiling & lights and £100 excess payment on the house insurance - put the bath on and went to talk to her mates on msn:mad:
    2. Blow up the microwave - set fire to a jacket potato, wharped the microwave door so its no longer useable:rolleyes:
    3. last night decided she wanted pizza when she came in from a party and left the freezer door open all night!!!
she's free to a good home - or any home the way i'm feeling at the moment!

    so today i have/will
    • clean freezer and see if i can save any food
    • check on-line banking
    • list items on ebay - unfortunatly they don't take livestock;)
    • clicks & surveys
hope you all have a good day

    Today:
    - Store cupboard meals from menu inc giant HM yorkshire pudding.
    - checked over food for next week & got to Mr T's before it shut!
    - used DS1's extra points coupons so they did not expire like his last lot - put the points on his ad card too :p
    - daily clicks
    - shall make OH write his mother's card so I can send it in good time (usually end up forging it and sending it first class as he 'forgets')
    - washing on radiators

Did not add to my 'found money' hoard today as had to leave 5p in Mr T's as could see it but not not reach it... I hate that happening :o !
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.

    HI everybody,

Today have been shopping at Tesco's to start collecting points to covert to holiday vouchers next year so we can go on our first family holiday to Cyprus, I can't get over the fact that at that point (all going well) our new baby would be 10months old! (due August).

Also today I have picked up a computer chair via freecycle as dh's chair broke yesterday. :T

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.
