Hi all
This is my first post I hope someone can help my wife and I have been married for a short time things are not going so well right now how would I go about buying her out of the house we have been together for many years and I have allways paid the morgate and the rest of the bills the house is worth about £125.000 and the outstanding balance is about 88.000 what percentage would I have to give her many thanks in advance0 -
She reckons the house is now worth £127,500 (we brought the house for £98,000) and we currently owe around £104,000 but with redemetion fees and seller’s fees all she is prepared to pay me is £7,000 for signing the house over to her.
Sorry about your split. My only advice would be to value just not the house but also your financial freedom. The climate is still tricky and being paid £7K as well as being able to walk away from the mortgage sounds like a good deal.0 -
Oh great, sorry hadn't appreciated this was such an old thread. Looks like another newbie before me refreshed it. Onthedeck - would recommend you start a new thread rather than restarting old ones.0
