Both my children use the Costco optician and they aren't cardholders. I suspect that doesn't answer your question though.

b.t.w. Costco do free eye tests and NHS glasses vouchers for children just like any other high street optician.

This week is bog roll week in the Costco Passport. A bundle of 10x4 Quilted Velvet bog rolls is less than £10 using the voucher. So that's £1 per 4-pack compared with Tesco's £2.18 per 4-pack or £4.75 per 10-pack. Max purchase is 36 packs, so buy a few of these, stick them in the garage and that's your annual membership paid for in what you save!
  • I like the Kirkland own brand loo rolls, not on offer but still a very good buy at £13.80 for 12x4 rolls. Excellent quality.

I've lost my passport booklet. Can anyone tell me when these offers end?

You can pick up another passport from the shop if you ask.
Quidco Earnings (since Dec 06): £467.75
  • Hi all,
I'm new to this forum, but have just got back from Costco and thought I'd post some general prices: (I apololgise my pound sign doesn't work on my computer!)

    Rump Steak 11.99 per Kg
Chicken breasts 6.89 per Kg (this is cheaper than Asda smart price chicken!)
    sausages 18 for 4.75
    fresh salmon 7.99 per Kg
1kg log of goats cheese for 5.69 (This is an AMAZING price!! about 1/3 of price in supermarkets for same amount!!)
    500g Mozarella 2.25!!
cheddar cheese 4.00 per Kg (we were paying 4.20 for about half of that in sainsbury!!)
1.5 litre of Vodka (Smirnoff) 22.00
    1 Litre Gordons Gin 14.67
    Baileys 70cl 9.97
bacon 48 rashers for 8 pounds
A WHOLE peking duck for 6.49!!!!!!!!
Finish washing tablets al in one 16.39 for 120 tablets
Olive oil 3 litres for 9.99!!!
    Milk 6pints for 1.56!!!!!!
A huge tub of mixed herbs (I think it was 100 or 150g) for 1.55!!!!

Some things are only a pound or two cheaper but other things you'd save an absolute fortune on!! We'll be saving 7 pounds alone just on dog food!!

They had some beautiful christmas decorations, lights and mirrors, some were expensive, but for what they were they were cheap....if that makes any sense!!

I'm not a member yet, but after today hubby and I have aggreed we will be!! We'll be signing up nect week!!

Hope some of those prices help

    xxx

Costco do free eye tests for children BUT DO NOT issue NHS glasses vouchers. Any glasses ordered take approx 2 weeks to arrive and the lenses are of only average quality. P.S Asda are the same price for eye/contact lens tests and are cheaper for lenses.

They did during the summer, but when I went in last week they weren't on display any more (in Bristol)

Had to stop buying those when the only ones in stock were the really fluffy super quilted type. They only seemed to last a day or two. V soft though :)
we are working our way through a huge pack of Kirkland triple ply. That one is flat, very tightly wound and goes much further.
