Jet2 flights??

It does clearly state at the bottom of the prize winning email:

Prize flights may not be taken on the following dates : 14th March – 7th April’08, 22nd May – 2nd June’08, 17th July – 2nd September’08, 24th October – 2nd November’08, 15th Dec '08 – 7th Jan’09, 11th – 24th Feb’09 and 26th – 31st March’09.

That is why you couldn't get your flight, 1st June, if you went a week later it would be fine.

I didn't have a problem at all getting my free flight.

except the 3 different flights I requested were in July and September not in the dates excluded.

I got my 3rd choice which was Lanzarote in September and received a reply less than a week after I submitted my choices. My friend is still waiting to hear back if she has got any of her choices and she submitted her details 2 days after me. It has now been over 2 weeks and still no response from Jet2.com.

Just had confirmation of Lanzarote in October - my first choice. Woo-hoo! They have strict baggage rules - it's cheaper if you book online for any check-in luggage in advance.:D

Got my first choice, Majorca 16th to 23 June, Wahooo!! :beer:

probably best to avoid weekend flights.

If anyone else going same place/date, let me know and we can have a beer at the airport.
