I am looking to Invest £3000 in a fixed rate bond for a year. But I am unsure which one to use. Bradford & Bingley offer one at a rate of 6.2% which looks ideal, but ICESAVE offers a real competitive rate of 6.73% but Im concerned as their seems to be real mixed reviews. Can anyone help? or advise me?
Many Thanks

What are the mixed reviews of ICEsave - I think you will find that most people involved with them are pretty happy with them.0

I've had an account with them for quite a while now and haven't had any problems at all with them.0

I've heard that people have had the wrong interest paid or recieved really bad customer service, I sort of came to the conclusion that if everyone here was a-ok with them then I would be. What are ICICI like?0 -
I think you have them round the wrong way - loads of problems with ICICI (although I think they may have improved) but absolutely none with ICEsave. There have been threads with people asking specifically about these two accounts and by and large ICEsave comes out ahead - but ICICI's rates are better at the moment.0

Icesave have been first class. I've been a member since they've started in the UK. ICICI are a shambles judging by the majority of comments on this forum,0

I would be very weary about investing with any Icelandic based provider - they are finding it very difficult at the moment with the liquidity crisis. I know this for a fact.0
