Well done! Which one did you order?

We have the soap dispenser too, very handy.

After [strike]playing eenie, meenie, miny moe[/strike] inputting all the relevant data into a spreadsheet for several hours, I ended up opting for the Franke 1001 version. It has a larger power motor than most of the other units I was looking at and a lifetime warranty which seemed ok. The bumph says it can handle bones etc. Price range £235 - £350.

(can't hear anyone telling me I made the wrong choice, my stress levels are high enough.:D )

I'm sure it will be fine. If not, I'll just give it things like soup to dispose of......:rotfl:

I'd like to get one for our new kitchen too, I think it is a very good idea that you can just throw e.g cracked egg shells into the sink, less messy! But hubby is very concerned about the erator being blocked. Thanks for the comments above.
  • Franke is a good make, I didn't know they did waste disposers. Our sink and tap (and soap dispenser!) are Franke, they will be 20 years old soon and still look very good.

P.S. one place that gives a grant for waste disposers is Herefordshire IIRC.

And Worcestershire too so that's at least three people including me eligible ;)
