Hello, everytine I get a box to enter text such as google as soon as I enter some characters a whole load of drop down alternatives appear. Most of the suggestions have nothing to do with my original query. It doesn't just happen with google, it is almost everything.
I use Mozilla Firefox with Windows XP but can find no way to turn this off. It never used to happen until recently. Any suggestions appreciated.

I think what you mean is Autocomplete. To turn off, click on Tools, Options, Saved Form Information and untick "Save Imformation I enter in web page forms and the search bar"Lookin 4 a bargain!0

Thanks, that seems to have done it. Does that do the same for Google search history as well? Ta0
