Hello!
one bit of advice-PACK LIGHT! turkey will be HOT-& also there are countless bargains to be had over there for clothing, etc-leave rooms for the bargains (get haggling for fake designer watches, clothes, etc-30% of asking price is about right!) -or take a second suitcase!
Which resort are you going to?

thanks for tips, i am going to icemeler in 4 weeks time. sort of looking forward to it but recently needed a wheelchair and not sure how i will fare in it in turkey ???0

we just got back from Icmeler a couple of weeks ago, it's as flat as a pancake and any shopping areas with steps etc. generally have a ramp, we had a couple of guests in our hotel in wheelchairs and saw them many times either down the beach or around the town and didn't look to be having any trouble. Plus all the restaurants have about 20 waiters so there will be more than enough people around to help you in a place0

thanks that makes me feel alot better, now just have to figure out how to get wheelchair in car with us and luggage, shame they dont have rental places there0
